October Half Term Hostel Trip 2009

Saturday 24th October

After travelling up to Alston the day's walk was on the hills above the west side of the South Tyne Valley and then back alongside of the route South Tynside Railway.

Sunday 25th October

Setting off from the hostel in Haltwhistle the day's walk was up onto Hadrian's Wall and then along the Wall to Once Brewed Youth Hostel via the Roman Fort at Vindolanda.

Monday 26th October

A short walk was undertaken in the morning befre setting off back to Leeds. On the way back to break the journey another short was was done to see the waterfall High Force.
